Synopsis
Bertram Pincus is a man whose people skills leave much to be desired. When Pincus dies unexpectedly, but is miraculously revived after seven minutes, he wakes up to discover that he now has the annoying ability to see ghosts. Even worse, they all want something from him, particularly Frank Herlihy who pesters him into breaking up the impending marriage of his widow Gwen. That puts Pincus squarely in the middle of a triangle with spirited result.

The Mutant Chronicles is an sci-fi/action/thriller movie based on the role-playing game with the same name.

It doesn't look like the movie has a distributor yet so we don't know when it will premier but when it happens IMDb will have the information. We just hope they will be able to release it soon because it looks great in the movie trailer.

Synopsis
Earth's natural resources have been exhausted by mankind and battle rages between the soldiers of four leading Corporations: the Capitol, Bauhaus, Mishima and Imperial. Mitch Hunter and Nathan Rooker, battle hardened Capitol soldiers, fight a desperate battle against a Bauhaus advance. When an errant shell destroys an ancient stone seal, they find themselves facing a new enemy: hideous necrmutants, with boneblades that grow from their arms. Mithc barely manages to escape. Nathan does not.

The mutants multiply by millions and they destroy all before them. The Corporations' leader, Constantine, is about to abandon the planet and leave countless innocents to their desperate fate, when he is approached by Brother Samuel, leader of the Brotherhood, and ancient monastic order. Samuel is keep of the Chronicles, a book that prophesies both the rise of the Mutants, and the 'Deliverer' that will destroy them. Samuel believes he is that Deliverer destined to journey deep into the earth and destroy the source of the mutant scourge.

He manages to recruit Mitch, along with a handful of like-minded soldiers: Steiner, honor bound Bauhaus officer; sword wielding Severian; street fighter El Jesus; fearless beauty Duval; and stoic warrior Juba. "Mutant Chronicle" follows Mitch and Samuel's mission to venture into the very heart of the darkness in an attempt to save the planet from marauding hordes of deathless mutants.

Synopsis

Musicals is not my thing but I know that all of my youngster relatives are looking forward to the next High School Musical so this will most probably be a huge hit and Disney will broadcast it thousands of time on their TV channels.

I just hope that Quantum of Solace is as good as it looks in the trailer and that it can live up to the standards set in the superb Casino Royal. And I believe that I'm not the only one with high hopes for this movie, or what do you say?

He's Just Not That Into You is a 2008 romantic comedy movie based on the self-help book by the same name. The movie stars Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, Drew Barrymore, Scarlett Johansson to only name a few. It's scheduled for a a October 24, 2008 release.

Synopsis
The film is based on the bestselling book of the same name, which was written by former Sex and the City writers Greg Behrendt and Liz Tucillo, and is about modern day relationships and how men and women often misconstrue the intentions of the opposite sex. He's Just Not That Into You is directed by Ken Kwapis (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants) and produced by Flower Films (50 First Dates, Charlie's Angels).

As most romantic comedies this seems like a real chick-flick but I guess many males will be tempted to watch it because of the incredible lineup of beautiful women.

Bigger, Faster, Stronger looks like a really funny movie. It's playing around with the fact that a lot of athletics are found to use drugs to get better.

They take it to an extreme level (in a funny way) and shows a world where everyone is using steroids and drugs and get amazingly large. With biceps like small cars I would look pretty small and tiny besides one of those guys. Looking forward to the movie, feels like a movie for a relaxed evening with tons of laughters.

X Files: I Want To Believe is the much anticipated second feature movie based on the cult TV series The X-Files. For all fans that have waited I can say that the wait is soon over, the movie will premier on July 25, 2008.

This movie was first anticipated on November 2001 but have remained in development hell until 2007. Both David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson the stars of the TV series return to play Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, just the way it's supposed to be.

Synopsis
20th Century Fox have been very secretive about the movie so very little is known about the movie. What have been revelaed is that the movie takes place six years after the events of the series. And unlike the first movie the story is not based on the TV series and will instead be a standalone thriller/horror movie.

However JoBlo states that he has received the plot from a source that states that he have found it from an upcoming novelization of the movie. He posted it to Wikipedia but it was removed shortly by Fox so it might just be valid, read the somewhat none reliable synopsis below.

Rumored synopsis
When a group of women are abducted in the wintry hills of rural Virginia, the only clues to their disappearance are the grotesque human remains that begin to turn up in snow banks along the highway. With officials desperate for any lead, a disgraced priest's questionable “visions” send local police on a wild goose chase and straight to a bizarre secret medical experiment that may or may not be connected to the women's disappearance. It's a case right out of The X-Files. But the FBI closed down its investigations into the paranormal years ago. And the best team for the job is ex-agents Fox Mulder and Dr. Dana Scully, who have no desire to revisit their dark past. Still, the truth of these horrific crimes is out there somewhere...and it will take Mulder and Scully to find it!"

Keep in mind it's not sure this synopsis is even remotely true to the story of the movie.

Synopsis
Liam Case (Cuba Gooding Jr.) is a garbage collector and a hero. Several years before, he rescued a little girl from a flaming car wreck. But fame often comes and goes and after his "fifteen minutes" hes now mostly forgotten. Alone and depressed, Liam has turned to alcohol for comfort. To get back in the spotlight Liam plans to stage a bank robbery and then stop it so that he can be the hero again. During the robbery Liam takes a bullet to protect a beautiful bank teller. When he wakes up in the hospital and realizes that the plan have failed he swear to seek vengeance against the thieves that left him to die.

Unfortunately Detective Terry Sbcott (Ray Liotta) is viewing him as the prime suspect in several brutal killings. In a race against the clock Liam tries to settle his own private justice against the criminals that left him at the bank while at the same time trying to avoid the authorities.

NO this is no joke, this movie actually exists even though it might seem absurd. I guess the only ones interested in watching this movie are those that like the idea of dead women stripping of their clothes or those that are fans of the former porn star Jenna Jameson, the rest of us can safely skip this movie. The trailer is crap and only shows bad acting so the expectations for the movie should be in the basement.

Synopsis
When a secret government agency let out a deadly chemo virus causing the reanimation of the dead, the first place to get hit is Rhino's, a hot underground strip club. As one of the strippers gets the virus, she turns into a supernatural, flesh-eating zombie stripper, making her the hit of the blub. Do the rest of the girls fight the temptation to be like the star stripper, even if there is no turning back?

Who's Your Monkey is a 2008 comedy movie which was released on March 28th, 2008. Over the course of a single night, four childhood friends kill a drug dealer, rescue animals, and dispose of a dead body! This film is a hilarious, irreverent, heartfelt comedy full of laughs, surprises and a lot of monkey business!

Synopsis
Bobby Stork, a beer guzzling widower, runs into his old friend Mark Van Houten, an out of work doctor who has resorted to making crystal meth to pay the bills. Bobby discusses Mark's problem with their mutual friends Laith Rukkab, an uptight guy who's packed on a few pounds but somehow lucked into landing a pretty girlfriend and Hutto, a soon-to-be father and the most together out of the four. The friends decide to give Mark the throwing stars they played with as kids to bring him back to reality.

Laith is outraged when he finds out Mark has been selling crystal meth to Reed, a drug dealer involved in animal porn. On their way to drop off the throwing stars at Mark's house, Laith and Bobby pass by Reed's car, filled to the brim with his "actors" Laith frees the animals, but loses a throwing star in the process.

The break-in and loss of his animals sends Reed into a fit of rage. Upon arriving at Mark's house, Reed sees a throwing star at and thinks that he's found the person who broke into his car and turns violent. In an act of both desperation and self-defense Mark kills Reed with a throwing star.

Bobby, Laith and Hutto come to Mark's rescue and the group's childhood friendship is rekindled. After numerous road blocks, the foursome eventually finds a way to dispose of the body and in the process each man learns something about himself.

Opinion
I have found a couple of user reviews and they all state that the movie was hilarious, which is great grade. The movie Won the Cine Vegas International Film Festival and the Florda Film Festival so we think it will be worth watching.

The Children of Huang Shi is a 2008 drama movie about a young British journalist who saves a group of orphaned children during the Japanese occupation of China in 1937. The movie is scheduled for a limited release in the US on May 23, 2008.

Synopsis
Based on real events, The Children of Huang Shi is a sweeping but intimate story set against war-torn China in the 1930's. The film centers on a young English journalist (Jonathan Rhys Meyers), an American nurse (Radha Mitchell) and the leader of a Chinese partisan group (Chow Yun Fat) who meet in desperate and unexpected circumstances. Together they rescue 60 orphaned children, leading them on an extraordinary journey across hundreds of miles of treacherous terrain, through snow-covered mountains and an unforgiving desert. Along the way they discover the true meaning of love, responsibility and courage.

This is not going to be a blockbuster but I love stories based on actual events and this seems to be a very touching story. And the trailer looks really great, if the movie lives up to the standard of the trailer I think we have one great movie.

The Andromeda Strain is originally a futuristic thriller novel written by Michael Crichton, the story is about a team of scientists investigating a deadly disease of extraterrestrial origin which causes rapid and fatal clotting of the blood.

In 1971 the book was turned into movie and in 2004 the Sci Fi Channel announced that they were working on a mini-series based in the same story. And what we are showing here is the trailer for the TV mini-series.

If your no fan of Sci-Fi movies you could probably stop reading and watching by now but if you like me like good Sci-Fi you should definitely watch the trailer as it looks really promising. According to Wikipedia it looks like the series will premier on Max 26, 2008 at 9:00 PM (Eastern) and that it will be a two-night television event.

Synopsis
An entire town is killed by a mysterious virus brought to earth by a returning satellite. A search through the town reveals two survivors: a baby and an old man. Why the virus spared them could provide the key for immunizing the populace. A crack team of scientists isolates themselves with the survivors in an underground laboratory, and now they only have a few days to find a cure before the world is destroyed.

This seems like a really decent comedy movie that I believe could give some really great laughs.

Synopsis
Shelley Darlington (Anna Faris) is living a carefree life until a rival gets her tossed out of the Playboy Mansion. With nowhere to go, fate delivers her to the sorority girls from Zeta Alpha Zeta. Unless they can sign a new pledge class, the seven socially clueless women will lose their house to the scheming girls of Phi Iota Mu. In order to accomplish their goal, they need Shelley to teach them the ways of makeup and men; at the same time, Shelley needs some of what the Zetas have – a sense of individuality. The combination leads all the girls to learn how to stop pretending and start being themselves.

Deadland is an upcoming 2008 movie about a man that have to cross post-world war III terrain to save his missing wife.

Deadland is no big shoot Hollywood movie and is probably created on a tight budget but I think the trailer looks promising so it might be worth checking it out.

worth, food is impossible to find, and hope is all but lost when every survivor of the war is infected by a fatal nuclear plague. This teaser trailer was released with the movie Horton Hears a Who about two weeks ago but it's not until today that it was properly released on the internet.

As you can see in this trailer dinosaurs have been alive the whole time but they have lived in a tropic habitat beneath all the ice.

We don't have much more information on the movie yet but there is an official website with the trailer and some images from the movie.

This is actually the second trailer for Hellboy 2 but unfortunately we didn't feature the first one. I say this is one awesome movie trailer that will make the competition between The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man a lot more interesting. Which one do you think will be the winner this summer?

Synopsis

Valkyrie is a 2008 thriller movie starring Tom Cruise, the story is based on the July 20 Plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler. The movie is scheduled for a October 3, 2008 release.

Synopsis
During World War II, the German Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg (Tom Cruise) is severely wounded in Africa and returns home to Nazi Germany. Stauffenberg helps conceive Operation Valkyrie, a plan approved by Adolf Hitler which, in order to manage turmoil within Germany, would implement a shadow government in the event of the Nazi Fuhrer's death. The Colonel eventually joins the German Resistance and becomes part of the July 20 Plot, a conspiracy to assassinate Hitler and execute Valkyrie in order to take control of the country and make peace with the Allies. Stauffenberg finds himself taking on not only the responsibility of leading the coup, but also the task to assassinate Hitler himself.

Bangkok Dangerous is a 2008 crime movie starring Nicolas Cage, it's a remake of a 1999 Thai movie by the same name. The movie is scheduled for a August 22, 2008 release.

There is no information about the story but it seems like they have chosen to stick closely to the story of the original movie. The basic plot is that a hitman (Nicolas Cage) in Bangkok to terminate a number of targets falls for a local woman and is unable to finish the job he started.

Synopsis

He predicts that the Barrier will not be able to stop the flood if the storm hits during high tide.

The team only has three hours until the flood hits the city, will they be able to save the city of London?

MacHEADS Movie Trailer

When I saw this MacHEADS movie trailer I was about to publish it under humor as a spoof but it actually looks like it's going to be a real movie.

I have never ever understood the Mac hype even though I think they create wonderful products and try to innovate in every way possible. In the video people talk about how they don't love the company but the community that have formed around it, well why does a community have to be bound to a company, for me it all seems a tad stupid.

And judging by the people in the movie trailer you could think that it's more of a cult/religion then a great community and I actually fear that this kind of unhealthy obsession/conviction can create the same kind of problems that we are and have experienced with religions.

War Dance or War/Dance which is the original title is a 2007 American documentary movie that have been nominated for the 2008 Acadamy Award for Best Documentary Feature.

As you can see from the rest of our more mainstream movie trailers this is nothing we would normally spend our or your time on but when a movie gets nominated for an Acadamy Award it usually have some specially quality.

Synopsis
The film centers on three children - Rose, a 13-year-old choir singer; Nancy, a 14-year-old dancer; and Dominic, a 14-year-old xylophone player. They are members of the Acholi tribe, living in the remote northern Uganda refugee camp of Patongo, which is under military protection from the Lord's Resistance Army, a terrorist group that has been rebelling against the government for the past two decades. In 2005, the camp's primary school won its regional music competition and headed to Kampala to participate in the annual National Music Competition. War/Dance focuses on three of the eight categories: Western choral performance, instrumental music, and traditional dance, where the students perform the Bwola, the dance of the Acholi. Starring: Nick Stahl, Charlize Theron, AnnaSophia Robb, Dennis Hopper and Woody Harrelson.

Synopsis
Sleepwalking is the story of James Reedy (Stahl), a simple man who leads a less than ordinary existence. When his sister Joleen (Theron) seemingly abandons her daughter Tara (Robb) with him, Reedy finds himself ill equipped to deal with the care of his 11-year-old niece. Faced with the prospect of losing Tara to a foster home, James manages to overcome his complacency, stealing away with the girl and taking to the road. In the course of their uneasy journey, their bond slowly begins to grow, as Tara must come to terms with her mother's disappearance. James, for the first time, is forced to truly examine long buried past events and the consequences they have had on his life, and determine whether they will continue to haunt his future.

This looks like a really good drama and Charlize Theron looks brilliant in her dramatic role, it looks almost natural to her. And AnnaSophia Robb looks like she will do a great job to, definitely a star on the rise.

Chapter 27 Movie Trailer

Chapter 27 is an independent movie depicting the murder of John Lennon, it was premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2007 but failed to land a US distributor but it will premier in the US in March 2008.

Synopsis
The movie takes place in the three days leading up to Lennon's assassination and is intended to be a deep exploration of Chapman's psyche, without putting substantial emphasis on the murder. The title "Chapter 27" suggests a continuation of J.D. Salinger's classic novel The Catcher in the Rye, which ends on chapter 26. Chapman attempted to model his life after Holden Caulfield, the main character of the book and was carrying a copy when he shot Lennon. Source: Wikipedia.

Opinion
This is not a mainstream movie but if you are interested in John Lennon and his killing or like dark movies this is probably something you want to take a look at, I think I will pass on this one.

Doomsday is an upcoming sci-fi movie about a lethal virus threatening the very existence of the human race. The movie stars Thona Mitra and Bob Hoskins and is scheduled for a March 14, 2008 release.

Synopsis
When a lethal virus called the Reaper nearly wipes out the whole of Scotland the rest of the world brutally quarantines the country by walling it of from the rest of the world. The people were left to die so the rest of the world would survive and could move on. 25 years later the virus brutally emerges once again in a major city.

An elite group of specialists is urgently dispatched onto the quarantined Scotland to by any means retrive a cure for the virus. The unit have to battle their way through a landscape that have turned into a waking nightmare.

Opinions
End of the world movies must be on the rise once again, this sounds very much like I Am Legend which just passed by the cinemas. But hey I like end of the world movies and it's from the director of The Descent which I thought was great, time will tell is Doomsday is worth the view or not.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall is an upcoming comedy movie starring Kristen Bell and Jason Segel. The movie is scheduled for a April 18, 2008 release.

Before we cover the story of the movie I have a few words to say about the producer, Judd Apatow. Judd Apatow is on a winning strike at the moment, during 2007 he produced Knocked Up which was a huge hit, Superbad which was comedy of the year and Walk Hard which is a Golden Globe Nominee. So it's easy to say that he has a great eye for talent and Forgetting Sarah Marshall looks like another home run for Apatow.

Synopsis
Struggling musician Peter Bretter (Jason Segel) has spent six years idolizing his girlfriend, television star Sarah Marshall (Kristen Bell). He's the guy left holding her purse in paparazzi photos and accidentally omitted from acceptance award speeches. But his world is rocked when she dumps him and Peter finds himself alone. After an unsuccessful bout of womanizing and an on-the-job nervous breakdown, he sees that not having Sarah may just ruin his life.

To clear his head, Peter takes an impulsive trip to Hawaii, where he is confronted by his worst nightmare: his ex and her tragically hip new British-rocker boyfriend, Aldous (Russell Brand), are sharing his hotel. Jake has promised them the "trip of a lifetime" because he claims Ireland has the best magic mushrooms in the world. It sounded like it would be great fun.
